I love the food at this place. The boneless chicken tenders are gluten free and so delicious. They are off and on busy, but their service could definitely use some help. The last three times we went in there, we sat down and were not even acknowledged for over 10 minutes. No hello, no menus, no we will be right with you. But the food outweighs that part, so I continue to go and hope that they will figure it all out.

Have severe gluten intolerance and this place was incredible and accommodating. How many places can you say have gluten free breaded chicken and options for pizza, burger buns and sandwich buns? Well they do and it’s very tasty. Had the boneless wings, garlic bread and a chicken sandwich so far. Honestly willing to come back for all the different gluten free options again! Absolutely delicious and highly recommend their chicken.

To go or not to go: GO GO!!!! This place had the best pizza ever plus the ample outside seating overlooking the river was to die for. When we went just recently it was a lovely cool day and we just lingered at the lovely outside patio over beer, salad and the best pizza. The service was stellar. The pizza crust perfect, nothing was greasy and it was all fresh. I totally made up my own pizza with pears, fire roasted mushrooms, balsamic drizzle etc etc. My husband had a delicious pepperoni pizza. I had the smaller 8” pizza but it comes in three different sizes. My husband ate his whole huge pizza! The inside has great seating also. We came back again towards the end of our trip so that should tell you how good it was. This little town is tiny but totally worth it to make a trip to get the divine pizza!!

May 4 th I held my daughters baby shower here. From the time I made reservation for their event space in a gorgeous space until the last of cleanup was wonderful!! Staff ( esp Eva!)was great. Food was amazing , presentation was great. They couldnt do enough to make me feel secure everything would be seamless. I would recommend doing any event there as well as dining in!! Kudos to you Buranos

Ended up here after walking the rail trail from Augusta to Hallowell with a friend and two dogs. We were welcomed to sit on the patio. The server was awesome. She immediately brought out a bowl of water for the fur kids. We each ordered pizzas a spectacular and a pear d'carter . Both pizzas were superb . Service was on point, and the food was even better. This place is now on my must eat places when I'm home visiting.

Two thumbs WAY UP! This Wood-Fired pizzeria has excellent food and a great atmosphere! Prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly and fun. We chose to eat out on the patio with fires turned on for us and a great view of the Kennebec River lazily flowing by. We started with the bone-in wings tossed in their signature peanut butter sweet chili sauce topped with bacon pieces. It was really good reminding me of a Thai recipe. I would have preferred more heat; perhaps some cayenne. It was really good, though. Then we had a simple pepperoni pizza. They had some really attractive choices, but my wife and bestest traveling buddy likes pepperoni. However, this pepperoni pizza was really excellent! The crust was perfect with the smoky flavor. It had the right amount of cheese with flavorful pepperoni. I highly recommend it. The staff was fun to engage and seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. My wife's comment when we were enjoying the sights and pizza... "Everyone should get a chance to eat here."

This is my favorite restaurant of all time, hands down. It's a great restaurant to grab some extremely well prepared food, using flavorful and healthy ingredients at a price that was quite affordable, especially considering the high quality of their ingredients. Their attention to detail and quality are far superior to any other restaurant I've been to. Their drinks were great, and they have a selection of house cocktails that are delicious. If you're looking for a gluten free, vegetarian, and even vegan meal, this is the place. My sister has Celiac, and this is the only restaurant that she can actually eat at and trust that she won't have a reaction, every time. I have never seen a cleaner kitchen in my entire life. Baruno's is my go-to restaurant for a mid day meal with my young child and a delicious dinner and drinks at night. 5 stars are not enough!
